11. You can work individually or in pairs.
Join some strips of newspaper to make one strip.
Estimate the length of strip to be a metre long.
You cannot use a ruler to help.

12. Compare the length of your strip of paper against a metre ruler.
Decide which label to put the strip with.

measure lengths in the classroom to the nearest 10cm
measure and record your work.
