4 Building Background Have you ever attended a library or other story telling event? What was it like? Many public libraries have story hours where Librarians and other volunteers read stories. They sometimes even have readers theaters! How about reading to a younger person. How did that make you feel? Say, “come and give me a (mumble hug). Does it sound like bug?

5 Background Information
Genre: Realistic Fiction Characters do things that real people and animals might do. Realistic. Places in the story are real or seam real. Also realistic! The story tells about things that could really happen BUT haven’t. Fiction.
