Non-Objective Shapes Sculpture

Minimum Requirements Must create a sculpture using multiple shapes (can be organic or geometric) Must use one shape at least 10 times Must consider location/display of sculpture: Sitting on a table Hanging from the ceiling Attached to the wall

Steps to creating Sculpture
Decide on a shape Cut your shape out of cardboard at least 10 times Create a cardboard model of your sculpture Roll out a slab and use template to cut out shapes Slip and score shapes together to form your sculpture

Things to consider: Positive and Negative space
Texture: will you have any? Edges: make a decision on whether you want clearly defined edges, rounded, sharp, or smooth Glaze: how will you glaze your sculpture? Symmetry vs. asymmetry Form and depth
