A local construction company contracted with building and installing a water main approached i- POWER JAPAN for help. It was wasting time traveling from the office to the job site to complete paperwork. i-POWER JAPAN was tasked with building an application that would let multiple construction company employees track progress, alter plans, and update paperwork from anywhere.

SOLUTION
i-POWER JAPAN chose Microsoft Azure as the platform for the application. The application was built using Microsoft Azure SQL Database and Microsoft Azure App Services. Because Microsoft Azure App Services are available from any location or device with Internet access, employees can now input and view data on the go. By utilizing Azure SQL Database, i-Power eliminated the construction company’s need for a SQL Server on-premises, eliminating installation and server management costs.
