6 Full Faith and Credit: States must honor one another’s public acts, laws, records and court actions. Exceptions: Civil matters, not always criminal Need not apply to certain marriages or divorces

7 Extradition: The legal process in which a fugitive from justice in one state is returned to that state from another. Since 1987, a Federal Court can force a governor to comply with an extradition order.

8 Privileges and Immunities:
A resident of one state may not be discriminated against unreasonably by another state. States can make reasonable discriminations against residents of another state. All citizens must obey the laws of all other states while in that state. Reciprocity in profession and education is common.
