Teachers will engage in a 3 pronged approach to professional development for the school year….cross curricular style…

10. Peer Coaching
Small teams of colleagues plan together, model for each other, observe each other, and provide feedback.

11. How will Peer Coaching work at P-Tap
Teachers will be randomly placed in groups of 6.
Teachers will complete 4 walkthrough observations per cycle (5-10min) and complete a feedback form.
Submit feedback forms to DC for data collection

12. Benefits of this approach
By the end of the cycles (Jan.) teachers will have a ton of feedback on what instruction looks like in their classroom +/-.
2nd half of the year will be the application of what we learn in a lesson study.
