3. Product and Process Change Notification ? WHAT IS IT ABOUT ?
Both ISO/TS and PPAP 4th edition are clear:
A supplier is not allowed to make any changes on the product or in the process that can have an effect for the customer without prior approval from the customer.
This includes:
change of sub-suppliers
change of machines or way of producing the parts
reworking non-conforming parts
change to design of the part
to name a few examples
