Shenfield and Hutton are affluent commuter areas of Brentwood, Essex. Shenfield is the eastern terminus of the new London Crossrail service opening next year. Hutton and Shenfield Union Church has been a joint Baptist/URC congregation since it was founded in The pastorates alternate between Baptist and URC. The current URC minister is Revd Paul Ellis who has been in post since 2016.
