3 FUNCTIONS OF CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
The heart is the pump necessary to circulate blood to all parts of the body. Arteries, veins, and capillaries are the structures that take blood from the heart to the cells and return blood from the cells back to the heart. Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to the cells and carries the waste products away.

4 COMPONENTS OF CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
The organs of the circulatory system include the heart arteries, veins, and capillaries. The blood and lymphatic are part of the circulatory system. The HEART is the muscular pump which is responsible for circulating the blood throughout the body.

7 STRUCTURE OF HEART HOLLOW, MUSCULAR, DOUBLE PUMP WHICH CIRCULATES THE BLOOD THROUGH THE BLOOD VESSELS TO ALL PARTS OF THE BODY. PERICARDIUM SURROUNDS THE HEART MYOCARDIUM IS HEART MUSCLE ENDOCARDIUM IS INNER LINING OF HEART. SEPTUM DIVIDES HEART INTO RIGHT AND LEFT HALVES.

8 HEART SOUNDS LUBB DUPP LUBB IS THE FIRST HEART SOUND-WHEN TRICUSUPID AND BICUSPID VALVES CLOSE DUPP IS THE SECOND SOUND-WHEN THE AORTA VALVE IS CLOSING.

10 CONTROL OF HEART CONTRACTIONS
SA NODE- PACEMAKER OF HEART. SENDS OUT AN ELECTRICAL IMPULSE THAT BEGINS AND REGULATES THE HEART. AV NODE- ELECTRICAL IMPULSE SPREADS THROUGHOUT THE VENTRICLES.
