Ask yourself the following questions in order to think of some short-term and long-term goals.
What would I like to be doing in 5 years, 10 years, or 20 years?
What type of education or training is needed?
What personality traits or characteristics may be required?
What problems could prevent me from achieving a goal?
What small steps can I take now to help me reach a goal?
Have students think of one long term goal, and three short term goals to support it.
