3 What will you learn in this course?
Learning Outcome: have a profound knowledge of information systems, booking and yield management, online communication concepts, methods and tools of E-tourism, know the available framework for announcing journeys and hotel booking, know methods, tools and strategic guidelines for improving income management and for increasing the number of bookings, are able to critically examine the opportunities relating to online communication and customer retention on new Internet platforms and in new channels.

8 Grading System Attendance is mandatory - absence means no score! Remember to sign the attendance sheet! Your grade will be accumulated from every score in every exercise Each exercise is valued as follows: Solution (70 %) Presentation of the solution (30-20 %) Answer to questions in the presentation, if applicable (10-0 %) Remember to submit your exercises in OLAT, at the latest by the start of the next seminar after the one for which you received the exercises! Every day’s all exercises amount to 20 points in total. Hence, the whole semester coursework has 100 points in total – 100%.

9 Grading System – from Exercise Points to the Grade
The course is passed if 60% of the points are reached. We will keep you up-to-date on your progress during the semester. If you still run in doubt, ask us. Score in % of the total Grade 90-100 1 80-89 2 70-79 3 60-69 4 0-59 5
