An object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion unless a force changes state of motion
Friction and wind speed can slow down objects, often being the case.

5. Newton’s Third Law of Motion
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
Then the boat moves forward, there is a force going the opposite direction in the water. May the Force be with you

6. Simple Machines One of 6 basic machines with few or moving parts.
Inclues inclined planes, levers, wedges, screws, pulleys, and wheel and axle.

7. Fulcrum The point where a lever rocks back and forth
The fulcrum is triangular guy with a smiley face on him

8. Screw An inclined plane around a post, used to hold things together
Discuss the difference between screws, nuts, and bolts

9. Sphere Perfectly round, 3D shape that looks like a ball
Like a 3D circle, discuss other spherical objects (balls, etc.)

10. Complex and Compound Machines
Includes 2 or more machines.
Discuss which simple machines are a part of each example picture
