Data collection of household situation indicators We collect 3 information by 3 variables / questions Jobless household Household with dependent children Single adult houshold with dependent children 2 collection methods for each beneficiary Direct entry into « Ma démarche FSE », our information system, available since the 4th December (an online software Import into « Ma démarche FSE », via an Excel file from beneficiary’s information system ESF Partnership meeting - 12 march 2015

13 managing authorities fo YEI, including DGEFP (65% of YEI funds) DGEFP has its own information system (« Ma démarche FSE » 12 other managing authorities will use a different information system (« Synergie ») to collect data and calculate indicators Aggregate data from « Ma démarche FSE » will be include in SID, part of Synergie ESF Partnership meeting - 12 march 2015

Data collection of household situation indicators If they have any information system, beneficiaries can use a questionnaire to collect data directly from participants It’s a 2 pages document, very simple, to ask question directly to participant They can use one of the 2 collection methods to implement these data in « Ma démarche FSE » ESF Partnership meeting - 12 march 2015

Compliance with data protection rule « Ma démarche FSE » was validated by the CNIL, French authority on computing and liberty Decision of 13th november 2014 ( ) No data considered sensitive by the CNIL Requests for information to participants and to protect and secure carefully personal data But these indicators have been challenged by some partners These data are not present in the information systems of the public employment service Many beneficiaries have to adapt their information systems ESF Partnership meeting - 12 march 2015 6

Validation of data Completeness work in progress but « ma démarche FSE » will checked completness of each participant record, for personal data and every variable our system will also identify record that cannot be counted Consistency but « Ma démarche FSE » already performs validation tests of sex, age, labour market situation, educational atteinment, household situation (Table 2, page 30, annex D) « Ma démarche FSE » stores a single value for each variable used in the calculation of the indicators ESF Partnership meeting - 12 march 2015

8 Storage of data, validation and transmission
Storage of micro-data directly in « Ma démarche FSE », under responsibility of DGEFP, managing authority Validation tests for aggregated data work in progress but « Ma démarche FSE » will apply all validation tests proposed by EC (Tables 3 to 6, pages 31-32, Guidance annex D) Data transmission DGEFP will transmit all common indicators and YEI indicators electronically as part of AIR via SFC2014 ESF Partnership meeting - 12 march 2015
