This beautiful chateau enjoys a feeling of grandeur and boasts many of the original features such as fireplaces in almost every room and bedrooms, beautiful stone and wood flooring and original ceilings. The chateau currently offers an operative holiday business opportunity welcoming groups of up to 24 persons, with possibilities for further expansion. But it could just as easily become an impressive family home or an intimate boutique hotel and restaurant.

7. First floor
There are two staircases going up to the first floor. One is a wooden staircase going up from the living room. The second one is a beautiful stone spiral staircase in the tower. There are seven bedrooms on this floor and two bathrooms, a family suite of two bedrooms, Tower Room with small dressing room and bathroom, the Marie-Louise room with bath, shower, wash hand basin and toilet, Queens room, annexe room Blanche room currently used as an office and Fleurie room with bathroom with bath and overhead shower, sink and toilet.

10. The second floor has the Marie Antoinette room with en-suite bathroom with wash hand basin, shower and toilet. The Douve is an independent apartment within the château and can be accessed from one of the bedrooms but also has a totally independent entrance. The Douve includes a spacious living/dining room with kitchen, a master bedroom, a bathroom with bath, double sink and toilet, and a dormitory style bedroom. The third floor is the attic which has yet to be converted.

12. Other buildings
There is an independent cottage in the castle garden suitable for four persons with two bedrooms and a nice terrace. The Maison Paysan is an independent gite with a private terrace on the inner courtyard. The accommodation consists of a small kitchen, living room, bathroom with double sink, shower and bath, toilet, mezzanine bedroom, second bedroom in the tower room, and another mezzanine. There are several barns and the old bakery of the château that could be renovated and used as further accommodation, or developed into a restaurant/function rooms. Most outbuildings face the beautiful inner courtyard.

13. Other Buildings
Barn 1 has a high ceiling, with double doors towards the inner courtyard. Barn 2 has high ceiling and is currently used as function room with a small stage. The old bakery has the original bread oven which is fully functional. The cave has beautiful space with high vaulted ceiling, still to be renovated but could turn into a beautiful restaurant.

14. Outside
The château is surrounded by a large park of multiple levels and an orchard. It is a perfect place for walks in the forest offering great privacy. The large terrace is a very special part of the château: this is where you live in the summer. It is quiet here, there are birds everywhere, roses, you can enjoy the sun or sit in the shade offered by three beautiful trees and a pergola. The 14 m x 7 m pool is well protected and secluded, with deck chairs on the sunny terrace. The chateau overlooks the valley, the hills, the forest and the tower of the church of the village of Saux. The château is nestled in the heart of a sleepy French village with good links to Cahors, Villeneuve-sur- Lot and the A20 autoroute.
