Evaluating The Liver Function

Due to poor diets and lifestyle, and the overwhelming toxic load we are exposed to today by way of foods, air, water and environment in general, our livers are often struggling under the load. Even with the best of diets we often still struggle with some health challenges.

One of the best ways to evaluate the liver’s ability to handle the toxins is by testing the first morning urine pH several days in a row to get an average. This should be the first morning urine after at least 4 to 5 hours of regular sleep. IF the liver is handling the toxins efficiently, the first morning pH will be 5.5 to 6.2.

This first morning urine pH is acidic because the liver is working throughout the night detoxifying the body from the daily exposures. Those acid toxins are dumped for elimination from the body by way of the first morning urine. If the liver is not handling the toxic load efficiently, the first morning urine pH is over alkaline indicating very little of the acid toxins have been dumped for elimination.

It is quite common to find the liver needs some additional help with support and restoration. The best support I have found is with “Liver Life” from Bio-Ray. This is designed for one to begin with very small servings, working up to the recommended serving size and frequency and using consistently until the optimal pH range is observed consistently with the first morning urine.
