1 What is involved in Detoxification? Detoxification involves dietary and lifestyle changes which reduce intake of toxins and improve elimination. Avoidance of chemicals, from food or other sources, refined food, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, and many drugs helps minimize the toxin load. Those lifestyle changes are a direct result of choices you make in your life. 2 I detoxed my toothpaste. Now I use Organic Baking Soda or Coconut Oil. I drink lots of fresh organic green juice daily. I eat lots of fresh organic vegetables and healthy fats. I avoid all processed foods, not only those that are high in salt, sugar and preservatives and follow a Low FodMap Diet.
