Required by the Governing Council to develop & implement HCPDs in a participatory manner in line with UNDAF/Ps of the countries. Offer technical support to UNCT and countries on sustainable urbanization e.g. NUP, planning, slum upgrading, basic services Support countries to mobilize stakeholders and partners to contribute to sustainable urban development e.g. NUFs Facilitate countries to participate effectively in Habitat III processes e.g. developing the African Position
