2 What is Key Club Student run volunteer organization.
Works within the community (For example: Mercer Museum, Pearl S. Buck, YMCA, Nursing Homes, Bucks County Housing Group, local elementary and middle schools) Why would you want to be a member? You enjoy volunteering. You want to get involved at West and in the community. You want to make yourself more well-rounded for college/NHS applications.

3 Key Club Expectations Attend monthly meetings (the 2nd Wednesday of each month). First meeting: Wednesday, October 10th). Complete at least 25 hours of volunteer activities during this school year. 12 hrs must be completed BEFORE January 31st. One of your activities may be an outside event for up to 12 hours (you will be expected to provide written verification), but at least 13 hours of the events must be through Key Club. You must attend the events you sign-up for, or you must find a replacement. Failure to meet these expectations will result in removal from Key Club.

4 Key Club Expectations Cont’d
Snow Days – events that are cancelled for inclement weather, will not be awarded credit as the student did not provide volunteer service.  Students may use outside hours to replace these events if requested at the time of the cancellation with Ms. Harrison or Ms. Wingen.  Events cancelled due to inclement weather DO NOT count as skips. If you do not reach your 12 hour midpoint requirement your account will be deactivated.  You then will be responsible for seeking out Ms. Harrison or Ms. Wingen to have it enabled again, and may be asked to meet further “checkpoints” in order to keep it activated.
