2 What is………? Eutrophication is referred to as the accumulation of nutrients in a Lake or Landlocked body of water.

3 Causes Eutrophication is a naturally occurring process.
Recently Eutrophication has been occurring more often due to such things as Fertilizer Runoff and the Dumping of Sewage.

4 Effects Algal Blooms Loss of Water Quality Coral Cover
Increase in Nutrient Levels Such as Nitrates and Phosphates. Death of Fish and other Sea Life Ex: Coral

5 Proposed Experiment Our Group Plans to simulate the negative effects of Fertilizer Runoff which leads to Eutrophication Our Group Intends on Testing the levels of Nitrates and Phosphates introduced into the Corals Environment
