Must have a current Physical turned into the MHS Athletic Office!!!!

5000 meters or 3.1 miles
Varsity
7 on varsity – 5 score team points
Who Travels
Everyone who is eligible will race
Practice Times
4pm – 6:30pm M-F, Saturday Practice
Season
August – October (Only varsity to Reg & State Meets)

Look at progression of distances or times

Beware of vacations from summer training
Cross Training * Shoes & Running Buddy
Biking, Swimming, Hiking, Climbing
Be very careful of Cross Fit Training.

5. Fundraising Peaches 18 boxes sold by each athlete 20 pounds for $25
Remind Each Person: This is a fundraiser, Peaches are 2nd’s, They may not be perfect.
Delivered in August and September
Athletes raise $8 - $10 per box sold
Parents – Help your athlete sell peaches

6. Cross Country Camp Uncompahgre Valley Cross Country Camp
4th Annual UV CC Camp:
August 6 – 10 (Also the first week of the official season)
8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Daily
Open to all 7th - 12th grade students
Registration Deadline: Saturday, July 7, 2018
Registration Fee: $50
