Mid-February – brainstorming meeting with all OECD Directorates (organised by Statistics Directorate) Proposals for future work March 2009; two internal workshops organised – social statistics, and trade/globalisation Focus on highlighting the available data and using visualisation tools e.g. business clock Horizontal group established

6 Where to for STESEG? Is this an area the STESEG can or wants to become involved in? If the answer to this question is ‘Yes’, then: Methodological e.g. seasonal adjustment etc? Data; for example producing a publication that shows all the STES data that was/is available? International coordination? New statistics e.g. house prices?
