I began this program with a personal goal of better understanding God, not just recognizing Him for whom we have been taught to recognize and reverence, but truly seeing Him through the eyes of Biblical history, from the Creation to Jesus. What you will witness is the evolution of my initial plan to develop a straight line tree to what is now before you, the Bible Genealogical Tree. I hope it will bless you as much as it has blessed & is continuing to bless me.

Use this tab to reference the various notations throughout The Tree.

The Index, known as ‘The Men & Women Of The Tree’, is a listing of all persons shown on the branches of The Tree. You will find them in alphabetical order from ‘A’

to ‘Z’

The Tree

Welcome to The Tree…..here we will learn more about the lineage of mankind, from God’s creation of Adam & Eve, to Jesus. You will see how God interacts with mankind, how mankind interacts with mankind, & how mankind interacts with his God. There are lots of interesting tidbits to munch on. This presentation is a brief synopsis of what is available in The Tree.

Select ‘View’ in top Toolbar
Uncheck Gridlines Should you prefer not having the gridlines shown, select ‘View’ in the top toolbar and uncheck gridlines.

Box Unchecked No Gridlines!

I prefer the gridlines, as they help me, as reference points, in following families & generations.

Depicts When God Changed Their Names
From From To To

Hyphenated Line Daughter Wife Hyphenated line shows a daughter, in one family, becoming the wife, in another. A hyphenated line depicts a daughter, of one family, becoming the wife, in another family.

To activate the Find option, press and hold down, simultaneously, the Ctrl + F keys on your keyboard.

Let’s look for caleb in The Tree.

Click-on ‘Find All’. 2 selections are found. 1st selection is highlighted & coordinates are given. Locate vertical portion of address. Locate horizontal portion of address. Name located at cross-hairs. 4 1 6 3 2 5

By placing the cursor over the red triangle, in upper right hand corner of the rectangle bearing Caleb’s name, you will be able view information regarding him.

2 Our 2nd Caleb entry is located at FG96. Locate the vertical portion of the address. Locate the horizontal portion of the address. The name is found in the crosshairs of the two coordinates. 1 4 3

Again, placing the cursor over the red information tab reveals additional information about Caleb.

2 You may use the index, referred to as ‘The Men & Women Of The Tree’, to search for an individual. If that person is present, using the ‘Find’ option (Ctrl+F), type in their name. Then, open ‘The Tree’ tab, and locate them on the tree. 1 3

Now, by hovering over the information tab with the cursor, further details about Hannah may be accessed.

Cross-referencing between individuals is a feature found throughout The Tree. Note: Removed his grandmother from being queen……is cross-referenced under Michaiah.

The recommended percent magnification for this program is 100%
The recommended percent magnification for this program is 100%. However, by reducing the magnification, a larger span of the program is viewable, and may aid in navigation while familiarizing oneself with the program. A higher magnification, on the other hand, may aid in ones’ viewing pleasure.

You will find the ‘Maps’ feature to be an important reference tool in your study of The Tree and of God’s word, in general. Access the maps by placing your cursor on the ‘https’ portion of the link and left click your mouse once. Make certain you are connected to the internet!

The ‘Timeline’ is a reference tool showing events read about, but oftentimes, not in a visual form. You will be able to see how the lives of many of the patriarchs overlapped & better understand events noted in scripture as you reference The Tree.

Thank you for taking this instructional tour.
I trust it will be of assistance to you as you enjoy navigating through the Bible Genealogical Tree. Author R Wigfall
