4 Improvement Priority 1 Develop, implement and monitor a formal process in all schools whereby each student is well known by at least one adult advocate who supports the student’s educational experiences and acts as a mentor for learning, thinking and life skills as well as physical, social, and emotional needs. 5 Improvement Priority 2 Promote an inclusive culture that provides for recognition of diversity by developing relationships across boundaries and cultures in all decisions and actions to achieve the system’s purpose. (Indicators 2.4 and 2.5)

6 Powerful Practice 1 Forsyth County School District provides a systemic and systematic process for monitoring and supporting the instructional practices of teachers to ensure student success. This process is supported by a collaborative structure that focuses on improved instruction and student learning at all levels. (Standards 3.4, 3.5)

7 Powerful Practice 2 The Forsyth Board of Education fosters a high performing organizational structure that provides clear vision and optimal resources in support of student learning. (Indicators 2.2, 2.1 and 2.3)

8 Powerful Practice 3 The Forsyth County School System has demonstrated its commitment to long-range strategic planning and to maximizing the impact of available resources on student learning and success.  This is evidenced by the district’s Five-Star Financial Efficiency Rating on the Georgia College and Career Ready Performance Index. (Indicator 4.4)
