1. JOSH, LISA AND ABBY

2. OUR MARRIAGE
We have been married for seven years and our relationship would be described as best friends. Our marriage is strong and we have a lot in common. As a family, we love to travel, paint pottery, kayak attend broadways shows and spend a lot of time at theme parks and festivals.

3. Home sweet home
We have a 3 bedroom/2 bath home in an active community on a golf course with tennis courts, swimming pools, bike and walking trails, restaurants, spa, an arcade, marina and two play grounds. Our home is also close to hospitals, libraries, shopping and entertainment. The school district is an A-district and Abby attends a private pre-school nearby. We love our community because it is a nice family community and it’s close to lots of attractions.

4. ? OUR PETS We have 2 silly cats: Mittens and Cuddles
We would love to have a dog, but don’t have one right now. We would like our children to pick out a puppy to play with when they’re a little older
We have a blue Beta Fish known as Blue-la

5. WORK LIFE
Josh owns and operates a floor restoration business which offers a flexible schedule.
Lisa is taking a break from teaching and works part-time as an administrative assistant
Because our schedules are flexible, we are able to spend a lot of time with our daughter and we look forward to also spending time with another son or daughter.
We’re fortunate to have flexible schedules and we are able to keep our daughter during the day. She is enrolled in K3 and also takes music, ballet and swimming lessons.

6. Josh is… (by Lisa)
I would describe Josh as a wonderful person. He is very gentle natured and loves Jesus, football and his grill. He also loves to read, work in the yard, travel, kayak and cycle. He is fun to be around and a very positive hardworking person.

7. Lisa is… (by Josh)
Lisa is a very clean and organized person. She is very sweet and family-oriented. Her family, marriage and children are most important as is her faith.
I love the passion that she puts into raising our daughter and being involved in the community. She is a lot of fun to be around.

8. To the birthmom:
Abby was adopted as a newborn in I’ll never forget the moment I first laid eyes on her- I immediately fell in love. I took 3 months to stay home with her (full-time) and we bonded. I know a lot of birth mothers worry about their child being loved, but I can assure you that Abby is the love of our lives. We cherish her and consider her to be a gift from God.

9. Family:
Josh and I love being parents. We enjoy participating in family activities and look forward to traveling with our children. It’s a privilege to be a parent and we want the very best for our children. We work hard to make sure they have everything they need and have lots of love. Its our goal to raise our children to reach their greatest potential.
