3 3 ENCC 2010 We would like ENCC 2010 to be held under the message of spirit of sport competition between players, for whom squash have become a great passion. Our aims are: to increase the popularity of squash in Poland to get the highest grade from participant and ESF to support the positive overtone of ENCC by organising an introductory charitable competition for media

4 4 ENCC 2010 – Why Warsaw Warsaw – is the cultural, entertainment and financial capital of Poland, which you have to see, because of its special atmosphere. Warsaw's palaces, churches and mansions display a richness of color and architectural details. Buildings represent nearly every European architectural style and historical period. The city has wonderful examples of architecture from the several periods, all of which are located within easy walking distance of the town centre. Public spaces attract heavy investment, so that the city has gained entirely new squares, parks and monuments. Warsaw's current urban landscape is a mixture of modern and contemporary architecture.

5 5 ENCC 2010 – Why Warsaw The ENNC is going to take the place in Warsaw because of an excellent location. Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is the busiest airport in Poland and handles over 11 million passengers per year. Currently, Airport serves up to around 100 scheduled flights daily, that fly to numerous domestic as well as international destinations. Public transport in Warsaw includes buses, trams, subway, light rail WKD line and regional rail - Fast Urban Rail and Mazovian Railoads.

6 6 ENCC 2010 – Why Warsaw Warsaw is a city of active people. Near the city centre there are sport facilities such as: golf courses, stadiums, horse racing track, swimming pools, aqua-parks, artificial rivers slides and ice rinks. In 2008 the title of the European capital of Sport has been granted to Warsaw. This is an annual award made to a city that has achieved an outstanding record in the area of sport. On 18 April 2007, Poland together with Ukraine were chosen to host the 2012 European Football Championship. Poland has beaten competitors from Italy and a joint bid from Croatia and Hungary.

7 7 ENCC 2010 – Why Kahuna ENCC 2010 will be held in the one of the most modern squash clubs in Poland – Kahuna The Kahuna Club currently has 8 squash courts certified by the ASB and 3 badminton courts, all of which are provided with a full air conditioning system. There are also fitness rooms, which are an excellent base for the players training. During the competition, there will be an information desk stationed by reception staff workers and press office.

8 8 ENCC 2010 – Why Kahuna The latest modernisation has created the Kahuna to became one of the biggest squash clubs in Poland. There are 8 new professional ASB (leader in squash courts globally) squash courts in Kahuna. In the new part of the club, there is a huge space, which helps in comfortable watching of important competitions and matches. The club is also equipped with modern controlled ventilation system and air-conditioning with humidity control, which gives a very comfortable conditions for players and spectators.

9 9 ENCC 2010 – Why Kahuna Kahuna has become the training center of the Polish National Teams in both of these disciplines. Kahuna educated champions within all of squash categories and leading players in Polish National Teams.

10 10 ENCC 2010 – Why Kahuna In 2006 Kahuna has organised the European Nations Challenge Cup and was given the highest grade from among all the earlier ENCC. In 2007, they have organised the most important competition in Poland Polish Individual Championships. Kahuna was the first club in Poland, which has organised coaching course with cooperation of Polish Squash Federation. Kahuna has huge experience in organizing all squash categories competition.
