In your groups, you will create a new sports team. You must decide on a team name/mascot, the colors, and what sport the team plays.
You will create a flyer advertising why people should come watch your new team play.
Each member of the group will have a job:
Director: Gather and organize materials, keep others on task, assist with other jobs
Artist: Make the flyer attractive by drawing the mascot and including the colors
Connector: Use the graphic organizer to make connections with connotations
Writer: On a sheet of paper, write a paragraph summing up the connotations of the choices your group made and why they are appropriate
