WELCOME BACK
Guests on campus: Ala ‘Ike students, you may be seeing some new faces on campus this semester from Leeward Community College’s, Associate of Arts in Teaching, Educational Media and Technology courses (ED 297). ASSESSMENTS: Attention ED 297 students! Please be sure to complete the following assessment activities:
Ala 'Ike Scenario -   Each week you will be asked to view a scenario from Ala 'Ike School.  Following the scenario you will be asked to go to Ning and contribute a posting (part I.) and reflection (part II.) about the topic of the week in the Ning Forum area.  Forum- Part I. Weekly Discussion Due Friday, January 15th Forum- Part II. Weekly Reflection  Due Tuesday, January 19th Note: Postings are scored according to the following discussion rubric.

Join Our Community - Ning Your Classmates : The 21st Century Teaching Ning site allows you to have an area within the course that is personalized, it helps others in your class get to know you.  Go to the 21st Century Teaching Ning site and post a self introduction in your "My Page".  Please include your name, a brief self introduction including two interesting facts about yourself.  I will be using your two facts in our Ebingo challenge next week.  See an example here.  of a self introduction.  How to video .     Due Tuesday, January 19th  Note: if you do not have a Ning account (free) please create one at this time.
