2 Wearing one black shoe and one brown shoe
Here I am in my office in Spokane. I’ll just wave to you so you can see how the video works in Elluminate Wearing one black shoe and one brown shoe

3 Heck, for all I know, everybody already left….
You can’t see me, but I can’t see you either I’m going to relieve you of my picture now. Heck, for all I know, everybody already left….

4 Yeah, I’m eating leftovers…..
I know that you all are having a great lunch there at Renton. I wish I were there, but I am having a delicious lunch, too. click Yeah, I’m eating leftovers…..

5 It’s a beautiful day over here in Spokane—no, not what you guys on the west side call a nice day—the sun is shining

6 Why Elluminate? Free Easy to learn and use
Anyone can use it in our system One central license managed by WAOL; local administrators at each college Recent budget and travel restrictions State Board staff have been asked to cut back on travel—I’m sure you are seeing similar measures at your colleges

7 AP—On the news that Connie Broughton is not flying anymore, the price of Alaska Airline stock lost ground today……. But less travel is not all bad. The good thing is that it gives us a chance to solidify what we know about new technologies

8 New technology Increases access
Makes the whole world our resource base Gives us the power to create and share Is less expensive and easier to use

9 I did not enjoy reading Ezra Pound,
but I like being a person who has read Ezra Pound. --Student evaluation comment I keep thinking about this comment that I got at the end of an Intro to Poetry class a long time ago. Quote. This is how I often feel about technology. I have too much to do, it changes all the time, sometimes it doesn’t work, sometimes it’s not compatible, it’s expensive and intrusive---but, dang, it is powerful and transformative.
