Offer them opportunities through questioning for feedback
Stop the class to check understanding
When you notice patterns in books stop the lesson and have a “What I’ve noticed feedback” slot
Reinforce the process – explain what you are doing is feedback and why it is important
Model verbally how to improve
Remember, all interactions are feedback, both in the class and around the school!
