5 Exercise – Framing a Needs Assessment using the INEE Minimum Standards
You have been asked to conduct a Needs Assessment for a community of around 2,000 IDPs. They are recently arrived. 50% of the IDPs are children, a significant proportion of the male population has stayed behind. The IDPs have fled recent heavy fighting, some are expected to have received injuries, or to be suffering from illness and malnourishment. Session 2.3
