3 FXRenew News Trading Plan
10-12 short term opportunities per month, based on %-deviations from consensus and/or anomalies Best Practices: If your fundamental proxy work is inconclusive or conflicting, avoid trading that particular release. The best trades are evident. Look for a significant deviation from expectations (over & above a threshold value that is unique to each release) Attempt to guesstimate the market’s positioning. Best odds are when the market is in a range, or when the release happens against an established trend. Do not trade ahead of the actual release. That’s called gambling. Instead, wait until after the release and verify that your work, and the market’s reaction, justify a trade. Bet small on each news trade because they are aggressive short-term opportunities and need to be treated as such.
