5 The Silver Bridge, Duncan, B.C., spanning the Cowichan River
A Facebook user identified as Krystal Andrews wrote that she guessed eight to 10 natives were on the bridge, "depending on the time of day and at night when it's dark out and you almost hit them all, there's usually about 20." Another member identified as Jessica Kind of Vancouver wrote, "This game is usually the highlight of the drive to or from Vic(toria) haha." Guessing how may natives are on the bridge "makes your day just a Little bit brighter, especially if you guess correctly," This new game "is nothing of the sort," he wrote: "This group is about counting natives on a bridge. That's it. Pure, unadulterated native counting." "They're making a mockery of First Nations people," said Steve Sxwithul'txw of the Penelakut First Nations tribe of Kuper Island.
