Project sponsor: TransWest Express LLC Technology: Two-Terminal, 600kV, Bipole HVDC Connections: Northern terminal: Wyoming (NTTG & potential WestConnect) Southern terminal: Nevada (CAISO, WestConnect) Capacity: Phased 1,500/3,000 MW In-Service Date: 2022 Cost Estimate: $2.11B (initial phase), $0.87B (increase the capacity to 3,000 MW)
