16 Medicaid ***Paperwork is due the 10th of each month (billing information will be from the previous month’s services) to Trish. This is CRITICAL for the new billing procedures! ***Remember that health care services are required to bill for targeted case management. Examples of health care services include: Occupational Therapy (Part C) Physical Therapy (Part C) Speech (Part B or C) Health Care Plan (Part A and C) Behavior Support Plan (Part A)

17 Medicaid ***Paperwork is due the 10th of each month (billing information will be from the previous month’s services) to Trish. This is CRITICAL for the new billing procedures! Cannot bill transportation until ALL billings have been received. Targeted Case Management units are denied when submitted later in the month if they were previously submitted earlier in the month by a different case manager (even if we have units left over!) Trisha is like a dog on a bone if we don’t have them here. You DO NOT want to be on her bad side!!

18 Medicaid Communication with the school nurse is vital regarding students who receive medication at school AND have an IEP AND are Medicaid eligible. THIS IS A BILLABLE SERVICE FOR OUR NURSES AND FOR TARGETED CASE MANAGEMENT If The student has parts A and C completed on the IEP. Part A is a dropdown menu with “Healthcare Plan” selected. Part C should indicate “nursing services” as a related service.

19 Medicaid FY17 =$151,272.32 FY16 = $137,625.24 FY15 = $93,681.22
