2 Geography of China Huang He or yellow River flows across china for more than 2,900 miles. The name comes the yellow rich soil it carries from Mongolia to the Pacific Ocean.

3 Geography of China Just like the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, The Nile of Egypt, The Indus and the Ganges of India, The Huang He River (Yellow) flooded the land and brought nutrients to the land for farmers

4 Geography of China China also calls it “China’s Sorrow” because of the death destruction that comes from the flooding of the River.

5 Geography of China China’s longest River is the Chang Yiang or the Yangtze River. 3,400 miles long It empties into the Yellow Sea which is a part of the Pacific Ocean

13 Shang Dynasty China’s first dynasty was part of the Xia dynasty not part of the Shang. Shang kings ruled from 1750 BC to 1045 BC
