The closer you go to the Equator the hotter the climate is. The further you go from the Equator the colder it is. This makes Canada very cold due to being so far away from the Equator.

Fossil fuels are made over a long period of time from animal and plant remains.

It is a region of rocky, rugged land that covers about half of Canada. It is important because much of Canada’s mineral wealth is found there.

No. Few people live on the land covered by the Canadian Shield Why? It is too rugged for anyone to live on.
