3 Processing Overview (RF)
March, 2004 Processing Overview (RF) Transmission Single RF carrier is used. Available Transmission method : -With Single Side band (SSB) :Basic proposal -With Double Side band (DSB):Optional proposal -Without Side band :Optional proposal Reception for side band transmission Complete cancellation of phase-noise and frequency -offset by the self -heterodyne detection (square-law detection) IF input output fc fc+fi fc-fi B NF=F 2B Receiver Transmitter Local leak DSB mixer Pt Pr f fi T IM2 ( )2 SSB DSB Yuichi Shiraki Oki

7 Configuration of Access Point
March, 2004 Configuration of Access Point BB/IF UNIT BB/IF UNIT BB/IF UNIT Above configuration is that of AP which has 2 neighboring APs located each otherat different directions. In this case, AP has two RF sections for AP-AP links and one RF section for AP-MT link. To control the these 3 links independently, three MAC sections for each RF section are implemented. The each configuration of MAC section is same BB/IF unit of Mobile terminal. Yuichi Shiraki Oki
