2. The watermill was built between the 15th and 19th centuries and as are many old mills was constructed over the river. The accommodation is comprised of apartment 1 for 8 to 10 people and has on the lower level a dining room/kitchen, lounge with fireplace, bathroom and private garden. The upper level has master bedroom with private bathroom, plus two other bedrooms with shared bathroom.

6. Apartment 2 is for 10 to 12 people and the lower level has dining room/kitchen, lounge, bedroom with fireplace, bathroom, large private patio and garden. The upper level has two bedrooms with shared bathroom, three Bed & Breakfast rooms with bathroom, two luxury suites with sitting area and bathroom, breakfast room and mill entrance. These two rooms include the original milling mechanism powered by the river. There is exterior terrace for common use above the mill race and three storage sheds.

10. Owner’s Residence
The split level owner's residence is comprised of the lower level with formal entrance with large 10' diameter spiral staircase leading to the main living area above, room/office, master suite with full en-suite bathroom, and two additional bedrooms with shared bathroom.
The mid level is accessed from the main living area above by six steps down and has a bedroom and full bathroom that is shared as a powder room for guests.
The main level has the living area with a great room of 750 sq ft with an open plan kitchen, 19th century limestone fireplace, sitting and eating areas.
Six large bay windows along the north side of the living room give views onto the interior courtyard of the mill, the river and it's valley.

11. The large private terrace on the sunny south side of the building is directly off the great room and easily accessed from the kitchen for relaxed outdoor entertaining. The upper level has mezzanine/TV lounge and is six steps up and above the mid level bedroom.

13. Custodian’s Residence
At the entrance to the property stands the Custodian's Residence, a charming two storey house with tower which is currently used as the guest reception and office. The ground floor has small kitchen/bar, an old brick baker's oven, fireplace and a spiral staircase inside the tower leading to the upper level where there is a bedroom and bathroom.

14. The Stone Barn
The ground floor of the Stone Barn has service rooms, wine cellar, car port with four spaces and a workshop. The upper floor houses a terrace, reception hall/dining room, cloak room, toilets and a professional kitchen. In addition there is a mezzanine containing lounge with fireplace, small meeting room, cloak room and toilets.

Situated in the heart of the Anjou two minutes from the historic village of Chanzeaux and thirty minutes from Angers where you can catch the TGV train and be in Paris in ninety minutes.
