2 Primary Colors Red Blue Yellow
Primary colors are pure colors. No other colors can be mixed to make these, but you can make many other colors by mixing these primary colors Red Blue Yellow

3 Secondary Colors Orange Green Purple
Secondary colors are formed by mixing together two primary colors.

4 You can mix certain primary colors to get these secondary colors…
Red + Blue = Purple Blue+ Yellow= Green Red + Yellow= Orange

5 An Example of a Color Wheel

6 Complementary Color Schemes
Complementary colors are colors found directly across from each other on the color wheel. Examples are: Red and Green Orange and Blue Yellow and Purple

7 Analogous Color Schemes
Analogous color schemes are colors beside each other on the color wheel. Examples Red, Red-Orange, and Orange Blue, Blue-Green, and Green Yellow-Green, Green, and Green-Blue
