5. Model Baby stroller 1. The first baby stroller was invented in 1733

3. The 1700 was designed in a shell-shape, this carriage had a harness intended to be pulled by a goat, dog, or miniature horse, with spring suspension to ensure a comfy ride for baby. Carriages then became a trendy luxury item that only the wealthiest parents could afford. In the 1800 they became face forward and handles were also added. Most were tall and unstable, however, making it easy for baby to fall out and hurt himself. In the 1900’s baby carriages were updated to include safety features that remain in today's prams, like larger wheels, footbrakes, deeper and roomier prams (which made it harder for kids to escape), and lower, sturdier frames (so if little ones did manage to climb out, it wasn't far to the ground). In 1965 the umbrella stroller appeared. The design was compact-friendly and lightweight, using an aluminum frame that could easily collapse and be stored.
4. The primary materials used in manufacturing a baby stroller are aluminum or steel for the frame, cloth for the seat and/or hood and rubber and plastic for handles and wheels. Baby strollers come in many varieties and are typically manufactured on an assembly line.
