2 Where did mathematics come from?
Would it surprise you to know that without mathematics we would have not buildings? Ancient buildiers had to figure out how to put a roof over their heads and how to keep it from falling down. What shape should the building be? How large should it be? How long will it take to build? How many people will it take to build it?

3 Pyramids What does the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, and an ancient tomb Giza, Egypt have in common?

4 Pyramid A pyramid is a very stead shape. It is based on the triangle. The sides are triangles that slope and meet at the top. The sides of some pyramids form steps as they rise to the top. Other pyramids have smooth sides.
