2 Finca el Penon The finca has 322 hectares of land of which 110 hectares are highly productive olive trees. There are 20,00 mature trees and 10,000 young trees fruiting for the first time. The trees have automatic irrigation. The rest of land is used for planting cereals and grazing. The mountain land has deer & wild boar along with partridges and other birds. Private hunting is allowed for which a license is needed.

4 The finca borders the river and has its own transformer for electricity which pumps water from the wells to large reservoir

The income for 2015 was 225,000 euros. This will increase yearly as the young olives mature and produce more fruit. There is an additional ha of land bordering the finca available to purchase from a neighbor. The finca includes tractors & all machinery needed for working the farm and harvesting the olives. The owner hires an olive shaker and 2 men for 20 days to harvest the olives. There are numerous tracks around the land for reaching the various areas, a 4 wheel drive is a necessity.

There is also a semi-detached house in the village, ideal for staff to live in, along with a ruin in the village, all included in the price of the finca. The finca could have log cabins, build more houses, etc and is income producing whilst also recreational

12 There is an old cortijo in the middle of the finca in need of a certain amount of work but structurally sound and habitable. There are various animal pens, tractor and implement sheds. On the land is a natural stone excavation area, the previous owner was a stone mason and used the stone for his work. This can be excavated and sold.

15 There are two entrances from the village to the finca which is in an amazing location in the middle of four mountain ranges. To the front is the Sierra de Cazorla, behind is Sierra Nevada, to the east is Sierra Baza and west is Sierra Magina. The views in all directions are spectacular and there are the most amazing sunsets. The sky at night is so clear and the air extremely fresh and healthy.

17 Location Situated in the province of Granada 1 and ¼ hours from Granada international airport. The city of Granada is one hour and the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada reached in one and half hours. Almeria is 175 kms where there is another airport and also boat to North Africa. Malaga city and airport is less than two hours. The cities of Cordoba and Huelva are reached in two hours and Jaen in one hour

18 There are two entrances from the village of Almedilla to the finca which is 17 km away. The village has basic amenities. The nearest town is Guardahortuna where you will find all amenities, many restaurants and bars. Easy access to the motorway for Granada, Guadix and Malaga.

20 Viewing arrangements Finca el Penon is for sale at Euros. Viewing is strictly by appointment with selling agents Images of Andalucia.
