1. FINCA HUELMA

2. Finca Huelma has 688 deeded hectares but there are in reality about 700 hectares. The farm has its own brand, called Oil Battens and is within the Designation of Origin Sierra Magina 500 hectares of these are olives and the rest is mountain. The farm has its own hunting of small and large game.

3. THE FINCA The finca has approximately 125,000 olive trees. Of these 80% are variety Picual and the rest variety Arbequina. Approximately 50,000 of the trees are about 15 years old, 45,000 or so about 8 years old and the rest are 3 or 4 years old. The normal frame to which are the olives is 8 x7. This past year 2.8 million kilos of olives were harvested. The farm has an annual subsidy of € 400,000 until 2020.

4. IRRIGATION & POWER The property has electricity from the mains supply. Drinking water and also of the overall network. CONCESSIONS OF IRRIGATION All trees are drip irrigation, and each olive tree has two emitters of 8 liters each. The farm is irrigated from the pond which is in the middle of the farm. There are three wells, currently only one in use, which have legalized 25 liters / second, but only ever take that start the motors 22 l / sec. The pond is filled and the well does not drop an inch, which you can see the flow and how good it is.

6. THE FINCA The property has three cottages for workers hunters & central main cortijo which has been renovated for a living accommodation. Two Quad to pull the sheets in the olive harvest and two bobcat. Land Rover Defender 8 years old plus three furhter older Land Rovers. 20 further machines Pellenc with corresponding batteries.

14. LOCATION The finca is situated in the municipality of Huelma in the province of Jaen in the direction of Granada. Jaen/Granada are the best olive production areas in Andalusia & Europe.. The nearest airports are Granada, Almeria & Murcia.
