INDULGENCE VERSUS RESTRAINT (IND) relatively free gratification of basic and natural human drives vs strict social norms

5 What does it look like in South Baltic?
Poland is a hierarchical and masculine society “live in order to work” High preference for avowing uncertainty – rigid codes and believes, lack of tolerance, highly restrained by social norms, tendency to cynicism and pessimism DK and SE – coaching vs leading, employee autonomy, decentralization; keep the life/work balance and you make sure that all are included , consensus and people value equality, solidarity and quality in their working lives, no need a lot of structure and predictability, Danes tell you if you are in doubt or do not know something. It is ok to say “I do not know” willingness to realise their impulses and desires with regard to enjoying life and having fun positive attitude and have a tendency towards optimism

developing know-how capacities for small local and regional organisations in the South Baltic Programme area to initiate active participation in the cross-border cooperation in their daily activities address different levels of capacity building processes – from single institutional capacity of potential project partner, via micro-activities addressed to the micro organisations till strategic capacity building on the programme macro level.
