Using the magazines provided, work with your groups to find 2 examples for each of the purposes Persuade Inform Entertain You will need to share with the rest of the group!

13 Invention First, you have to INFORM your reader.
Write ONE paragraph providing your reader with information about your invention. Think of size, color, shape, uses, where it can be found, etc.

14 Invention Next, you have to PERSUADE your reader.
Write ONE paragraph persuading your reader to purchase your invention. Think of what makes yours better than others! Convince me to want to purchase your invention.

15 Invention Last, you have to ENTERTAIN your reader.
Create a picture/image with color that is entertaining. Catch the eye of your reader and make him or her laugh, cry, etc.

16 Invention Project Requirements
INFORM: 1 paragraph informing your reader about the product by including facts and data PERSUADE: 1 paragraph persuading your reader to buy the product by showing why it is better than others ENTERTAIN: 1 advertisement (color and image are necessary) that makes it fun and exciting for your reader. Maybe you can even tell a story!
