3. Ingredients 5-6 apples 1 cup white sugar ½ cup light corn syrup
¾ cup water
4 drops red food coloring

4. Heat mixture to degrees F (candy thermometer) or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms hard, brittle threads.
