Open Circuit – An incomplete path where electricity can not flow. Ex – OFF switch Closed Circuit – A complete path where electricity can flow. Ex – ON switch Parallel Circuit – an electric circuit with multiple paths through which current can flow. Ex- Household Circuit Series Circuit – an electric circuit in which all the working parts are one path. Ex – Holiday Lights                      Circuit – a path that electricity can flow through Current – the movement of electric charges through a material Conductor – a substance through which electricity can flow through easily. Ex – metal spoon Insulator – a substance through which electricity can not flow. Ex -- Rubber Tire Resistance – When a material resists energy passing through it, usually heat and light are produced.
