Documents the decision whether to move forward with the Preferred Alternative or No Action Describes any changes to the Preferred Alternative resulting from public or agency input. Provide written responses to all comments received Includes final mitigation commitments (legally binding)

9 Partnerships and Funding
Total of $350 million preliminarily identified for the Gap project: $250 million – State funds conditionally approved $15 million – El Paso County voter approved measure $10 million – Pikes Peak Regional Transportation Authority (PPRTA) voter approved measure $10 million – Douglas County approved $65 million – INFRA federal grant from USDOT (decision expected June 2018)

Moving forward with TIP / STIP actions to be ready for construction TIP amendment to use SB 1 funds in lieu of SB 267 No net change for overall project Will STIP funds while amendment is pending July actions for DRCOG and Transportation Commission

11 Other Federal Grant Opportunities
Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) Grant Maximum of $25M Applications due July 19, 2018 Would need local sponsor National Highway Freight Program Applied for $2.5M for a Southbound 1 mile Climbing Lane south of Greenland
