2. Course Outline Assessment
This is a subject that is all about equipping us to understand and assist those that face disadvantage in our society. We focus on physical, financial and social disadvantage, the challenges faced by people who are disadvantaged and the ways in which we can become thoughtful people who can make a difference for those who struggle.
Assessment
This course features three major assessment tasks: Research Report Interview and Analysis Infographic

3. Topics Covered
Physical Disadvantage This unit examines the challenges and opportunities people with disability face.
Financial Disadvantage This unit focuses on the causes and ramifications of poverty in Australia, as well as support structures that are there for those who struggle.
Social Disadvantage This unit looks at the various people groups in our society who at disadvantage due to their identity or history and the various advocate groups what work alongside them.
