2 Prepositions Show the relationship between a noun or pronoun and another word in a sentence What’s a noun? Person, place, thing, idea (Miss Travis) What’s a pronoun? A word that can be a substitute for a noun (She)

Prepositions Here are a few examples: The sound of a jazz band filled the kitchen. The music was coming from a radio. “of” shows the relationship between sound and band “from” shows the relationship between music and radio
